Global Futures Scholarship

The University of Manchester is pleased to offer more than £2.9 million in scholarships to international students beginning their studies in September 2023. Prospective bachelor's and master's students are eligible for the award.

Undergraduate Scholarships

We are providing 40 merit-based undergraduate scholarships of £5,000 to overseas students from the South Asian countries of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Please keep in mind that the scholarship application form will only be available to students who have applied for and been accepted into a full-time undergraduate program beginning in 2023.

Students must be pursuing one of the qualifications listed below: A-level (includes international and Sri Lankan A-levels) IB, Indian Standard XII (CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat boards alone).

Award Details

The Global Futures scholarships will be given based on academic achievement and responses to questions in the online application form, which will be emailed to all qualified offer-holders. The 40 partial grants will be available to applicants from South Asia, including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Each grant consists of £5,000 for the first year of study, with an additional £5,000 awarded in the second and third years of study, subject to a 60% average in each year. Scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition discount against the listed tuition prices.Please keep in mind that the application form will only be delivered to you once you have applied and been offered a position.

Summary of eligibility criteria

·  International fee-paying students from the following South Asian nations will be considered: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

·  Applicants must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2023 and possess or be working toward one of the following qualifications:

·  Applicants for the degrees of Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), or Architecture are not eligible for the award.

·  By May 19, 2023, applicants must have made The University of Manchester their FIRM UCAS preference.

·  Applicants who have previously earned a degree in the United Kingdom are ineligible for the award.

·  The prize is not available to applicants for blended or remote learning programs.

How to apply

By May 19, 2023, you must submit an online scholarship application form. All relevant offer holders will receive an email with a link to the online application form. Following the release of exam results, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the University's decision by August 2023.

Master's degrees

We are giving 91 merit-based master's scholarships of £8,000 to overseas students from the South Asian countries of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Please keep in mind that the scholarship application form will only be available to students who have applied for and been offered a full-time master's degree beginning in 2023.

Award details

Manchester International Excellence Scholarships in Science and Engineering

·  The Manchester Science and Engineering International Excellence scholarships give rewards of up to £3,000 per year for up to four years of study for Indian undergraduate students.

University of Kingston

They are offering eight scholarships for newly enrolled undergraduate and postgraduate students starting in September. They are worth £5,000 towards your first year of university.

We are searching for passionate ambassadors to promote Kingston and assist us with our recruitment and marketing efforts. As part of the application, you must make and submit a video introduction of yourself.

Please keep in mind that our scholarships are highly competitive, and we get a many applicants each year. Before you may apply for a scholarship, you must have an offer for a programme beginning in September 2023.

If you are successful, the award is withdrawn from your tuition fees, but you must ensure that you can fund the remaining fees and living expenses yourself.

Terms and conditions

Once offered a scholarship, you must:

1. Accept the offer formally, following the link within your offer email

2. Make York your firm choice.

These steps must be taken by the time specified in your offer email. Otherwise, your scholarship will be forfeited and awarded to a reserve applicant.

·  For tuition fee reasons, awardees must be classified as Overseas or International fee-paying students for the length of their study. If you are given the scholarship but then evaluated as a 'Home' fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for it.

How to apply

·  Scholarships are automatically evaluated as part of the program application process and will be conditional if the outcomes are not known.

·  Throughout the recruitment season, scholarship grants will be automatically guaranteed for 2023 enrollment.

·  If a candidate is qualified for both the Lancaster Global Scholarship and a scholarship and/or tuition price discount from any of our overseas teaching partnerships, only the highest value grant will be provided for 2023 entrance.

·  If an applicant is eligible for both scholarships, he or she may combine the Lancaster Global Scholarship and the Management School Master's Scholarship for 2023 entrance.

·  For 2023 entry, if successfully awarded a named departmental scholarship, it can be combined with this scholarship.

The overseas Undergraduate Scholarship 2023 is available to new overseas students beginning their undergraduate studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2023.

Key information:

·  The scholarship is worth £2,000 per year for courses in the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences faculties, and £2,500 per year for programmes in the Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, and Health, and Science faculties.

·  The scholarship is renewable each academic year, subject to continued academic excellence; please see below for additional information.

·  There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application. If you match the qualifying and award conditions listed below, your scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee reduction.

Eligibility and award criteria:

·  You must begin your undergraduate studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2023. With the exception of Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200), all undergraduate degree courses are included.

·  Before 16:00 (UK time) on June 8, 2023, you must select the University of Sheffield as your company or insurance provider.

·  The scholarship will be given automatically in the first and future years; no scholarship application is necessary.

·  The scholarship will be guaranteed in the first year of study if the eligibility and award conditions are met.
